Game 4.

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

Game 4 of the 2009 campaign was a real Twins loss and a mogul Twins loss. 2-0 for the real guys. My guys lost 4 -1. The mogul Twins are not hitting. Much like their real life counterparts early in the season. We only mangaed two hits in this game. One for Alexi Casilla and one by Brendan Harris.

Dream Matchups.

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

The NHL received its dream Stanley cup finals. Hockey is great game live, not so much on TV. There is no other team sport that can display teamwork, grit, hard work, playing hurt, etc… like hockey. It’s too bad the NHL has to cave to NBC by giving the broadcast for free and then be forced to play on back to back nights. They almost never do that in the regular season, and now to play back to back nights because NBC does not want to mess up their Monday – Friday programming is absurd. They should put the games on Versus so the players and hardcore fans get what they want. Nobody outside that core is going to watch anyway. It also hurts hockey to compete with the NBA. It will never be as popular, so why try to go head to head. Finish before the NBA playoffs even start.

The NBA has 1/2 of their dream match up. Can Lebron deliver the other 1/2?

Is Lebron better than Michael Jordon ever was?

Game 3.

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

Game 3 of the 2009 season was a 6-5 Twins win in real life. A three rbi night from Justin Morneau was a big reason why. The 2009 mogul Twins dropped the game 3-1. They managed only 3 hits. After each series I will output the mogul Twins team statistics for hitting and pitching. Those can be found below too. Not a good 3 game series for my mogul Twins.
